I have recently become a John Corigliano fan and today I picked up the recent Joshua Bell/Baltimore Symphony release of Corigliano's Violin Concerto "The Red Violin Concerto." I haven't listened to the cd yet, but I am a little puzzled by the CD insert which seems a little too porn-esque for my tastes. Did Sony really have to make Joshua Bell look like an adult film star in order to sell a few cd's?
I hope the music inside is better.
