Henry Fogel gives the Walla Walla Symphony a plug. I wish he would have talked more about the orchestra and the concert he heard. The gist of the plug is that there is perfectly acceptable and often high quality music being made with small, community orchestras. I tend to agree. This has certainly been my experience in Seattle and previously in the Midwest.
